Beware Of Adding Fellow And Co-Administrators On Facebook Fan Pages

For those of you who are not aware yet, I am writing and posting this so you will know and save yourself from an experience that will later cause you a big problem or regret especially with regards to your facebook fan pages.

Some of us may have a facebook fan page that we created and have worked so hard to build followers and how hard and sad it would be if all of a sudden all these hard work (most especially if it was a faceboook page for your business) would be taken or stolen away from you and there is no easy way of taking or recovering it all back. Worst case, you will need to start all over again.

We all know, how many people we cannot truly trust in the world nowadays and they're also on facebook so when it comes to managing a fan page you made, it is best to trust no one but yourself. Some people whom you made as fellow administrator could betray you and remove you from having access to your own fan page in the future.

Facebook rule has no way of easily recovering or getting it back from a theif or fan page hijacker once they take control of your page. Unless your account was hacked or the account of any of the administrators was hacked.

The only thing you can get it back is to ask or beg the administrator of the page to add you up as admin again and how would they add you back again, when they are the one who even removed you as administrator of your own page in the first place?

Some of the tactics of these thieves, most especially strangers on facebook is they might say something like they want to be a fellow administrator of your page and then say something like they know a lot of things about the niche of your page and they can help you post photos or information with regards to your page. At first, they sound or appear good and convincing but this is a trick so you will come to add them up as administrator. Then, the next days, maybe weeks or so, you will be surprise they have already removed you as admin of your own page and have taken over your page.

So, I'm telling you when deciding or adding fellow administrators or assigning page roles to anyone on your facebook pages, think about this: "Regret always comes in the end" so be careful and don't ever trust anyone with regards to your facebook fan pages especially a stranger. I hope this post was helpful to you.
